This article is about the low-budget Indian horror-musical Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo, which was released in theaters on April 29th. The low budget and the tagline "India's first Netflix" has made it a cult hit since its release. The movie stars Utkarsh Gupta, Arjun Mathur and Tanvi Nagendra. It is about a young couple who move into an old apartment in Mumbai and find themselves haunted by demonic spirits and plagued by problems turning them against each other. The movie, which is set in the 80s, has shades of some of the Bollywood horror superhits like Raat (1992) and Saaya (2005). The songs are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, except for "Hum Kehne Ko", which is written by Nusrat Badr. The Music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The film had a very positive response on Reddit India and was rated 8.4/10 based on over 13,000 votes. It also became an instant hit after it was hastily uploaded to Netflix on April 28th . "Utkarsh and Arjun give stellar performances, Tanvi is brilliant in parts and keeps the film chugging along even when the script falters." - The Hindu ""The most important lesson we can learn from Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo is that not every Indian horror film has to be an out-and-out horror film. It can also be a slice of life drama with a dash of the supernatural. It's a film which moves you, but also gives you a few goosebumps."" - Mtime "It is almost like watching an Indian version of The Exorcist (1973), as the movie is intense and very well shot. - The Times of India "Utkarsh Gupta plays the dual role of Tanmay and Tanmay's evil spirit, who possess his body. He plays the character with ease and confidence and works his role well." - Bollywood Hungama - "A horror film which stands out for its music and haunting nature. It will surely put a chill down your spine."The film was made on a shoe string budget of 120 million INR (1. 8 million USD as of January 2018). It was shot in 15 days and edited over a period of seven weeks. This is the first horror-commercial film to be released by Netflix India after "Sacred Games" (2018) and "Uri: The Surgical Strike" (2018). By the end of it's first week, there were a reported 20 million views on Netflix India. The film has received a lot of acclaim for its story, music and acting among other things. Despite being a low budget film, there have been many high-quality songs composed for the movie. One reviewer from moviebuzz.com praised the songs saying "The songs are especially perfectly synchronized with the scenes being shown. cfa1e77820
